VTEL Jordan launched its operations in 2008 with a mission of becoming the country’s first true Next Generation Network (NGN) operator providing data, voice and related added value services to the wholesale, corporate and high- end residential market.

 

VTEL Jordan is a licensed data and fixed operator founded in early 2008. In less than 2 years, VTEL Jordan became one of the largest 100% fiber optic backbone operators in Jordan and has forged strategic alliances with local and international companies in order to offer clients broadband through fiber optics. It has invested in the first Fiber to the Building (FTTB) and GPON network and services in order to deliver faster and more robust broadband.

 

VTEL Jordan has built over 180Km of Fiber Optic rings in Amman and the surrounding areas. In addition, VTEL Jordan built the largest Tier 3 Data Center in Jordan dedicated to collocation services, disaster recovery and hosting cloud services.

 

VTEL Jordan’s vision is to develop a world-class telecom infrastructure in Jordan based on fiber- based and Next Generation Networks (NGN) technologies. These technologies will enable Jordanian service providers and enterprises to benefit from its high quality of service and diversity. VTEL’s aim is to support Jordanian efforts to develop true broadband connectivity and value added ICT services.
